What is a Reading Connects partner?
Many
educational institutions and individuals within authorities are actively supporting
Reading Connects by promoting our key messages, ordering multiple
copies of materials and encouraging schools to join us. We
recognise this support and have created a special type of
membership called Reading Connects partners. This category of membership
is currently available for School Library Services, local
authority literacy/English consultants and for others who
work in local authority teams, such as family learning or ethnic minority achievement teams.
On signing up as a partner you will receive:
- The Reading Connects handbook
- The Reading Connects family involvement toolkit
- The opportunity to order materials for your schools
- The Reading Connects logo
- Ongoing support from Reading Connects and an email newsletter every half term
How do I find out who is already a Reading Connects partner?
When an individual signs up as a Reading Connects partner, they automatically appear online. To find out who the partners are in your area click on Search Connects in your area in the left-hand menu.
